Noble Offshore provides Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methodologies on how, when and where inspections of piping, tanks, vessels and rotating / moving components should be inspected, maintained, tested, and replaced.RBI strategy is developed following execution of a Risk Assessment, which would detail the recommended approach that the client should adopt in order to ensure effective asset integrity management.The strategy will also include recommended inspection frequencies and an analysis of the most probable failure modes in order to assist in the selection of the most appropriate inspection / monitoring techniques.In our Reliability Centred Maintenance offering we analyse the equipment found in a specific process, helping to create a maintenance interval and frequency based on the reliability of that equipment. Today’s need for economic efficiency, reliability, and reduction of downtime requires that preventative maintenance be implemented based on important factors such as MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) and failure rate.
