Noble Offshore provides engineering services for offshore construction and support vessels. We use a broad range of industry and bespoke software, and have full knowledge of all types of classification rules and other statutory regulations.
Design
With fabrication yards now sited in shipyards with vastly different capabilities, it is important that design and build process is effectively tested, inspected and proven fit for purpose.
Noble Offshore carries out projects on cable laying barges and geotechnical vessels, and many clients take advantage of the company’s services in:

Support vessels rely on Dynamic Positioning (DP) to fulfil their various and particular roles. Our full range of DP services is offered ranges from vessel capability assessments through to Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) or Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), studies. Work in the design-phase can also overlap into the build-stage; when preparation of shop fabrication drawings and other follow-on services are carried out.
Build
Noble Offshore provides project management and specialist site personnel on behalf of the owner or the shipyard. We also manage the project during the new build and upgrade of construction and support vessels and handle all class forms. We ensure:
- All units comply with the specifications and terms of the contract
- Are delivered to the owner’s satisfaction to budget, time and quality standards
Throughout the construction phase,Noble Offshore also works on behalf of financial institutions in order to assure lenders of conformance with contractual and technical requirements.
Install
Once a particular vessel is working on site,Noble Offshore’s services extend to cover the tasks undertaken by that particular craft. Whether it is installing anchors or transporting and installing subsea equipment, the process requires detailed planning. We provide the technical details, backup support and can arrange on-location trials and analysis about which procedures need to be followed, including dynamic analyses, lifting calculations and arrangements for transport and installation.
Operate
Core activities such as the provision of marine warranty services, marine casualty investigation and P&I associated services are all significant parts of Noble Offshore’s operational work.
Noble Offshore’s crewing services entail all types of marine craft with highly experienced DP crew for specialist operations, as well as experienced engineers for specific in-field activities such as cable and pipe laying.
