Our design capabilities range from the evaluation and development of initial concepts through to the design and drafting of the majority of marine structures, including mobile offshore drilling units and mobile offshore production units.
Services include the design, specification and outfitting of structures, machinery and piping, electrics and instrumentation, drilling systems and naval architecture .Industry-standard software enables our teams to integrate the requirements of shipyards and fabricators with ease, minimising potential interface and translation issues. An important element of design work is liaison with classification societies.This is necessary to ensure that any work performed complies with current standards. Noble Offshore’s position as one of the most established approvers in the industry facilitates this process. This means that all necessary class approvals are obtained in a smooth and timely manner.
